The Aberdeen School District is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus buses and equipment “as is, where is” condition:

LOT 4 School Bus tagged #3586, 1994 Blue Bird

LOT 5 School Bus tagged #7032, 2006 International

LOT 6 School Bus tagged #3836, 1994 Blue Bird

LOT 7 Finishing mower, King Kutter

LOT 8 Brush Hog, King Kutter

LOT 9 2- Scag mowers

Buses and equipment may be missing parts, have engine problems or bad transmissions.

The listed vehicles / equipment may be inspected at the Bus Shop, 1100a Commerce Street, Aberdeen MS. 39730, prior to the bid opening date and time.

The Aberdeen School District makes no representations regarding the condition of these vehicles and offers no warranty of any kind.

Bids must be received at the Aberdeen Resource Center office by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “SURPLUS BID” to the following address: Aberdeen School District, 1100 Commerce Street Aberdeen, MS 39730.

Successful bidders will have seven (7) days to remove their purchased vehicle(s) from the premises after which time any unclaimed vehicle will be awarded to the next highest bidder or ownership reverts back to the school system. Aberdeen School District will notify successful bidders of their decisions.

A cashier’s check, money order or cash in the full amount of the bid and made payable to “Aberdeen School District” must be submitted before removal of the purchased vehicle. If any units remain unsold after the bid opening, they will be available on a best offer basis.
