Adult Basic Education/General Education Development (GED) courses are available every Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30-12:00 p.m. at the Aberdeen School District Parent Center. Ages 16 and older will be received. If students are still enrolled, a formal Withdrawal Form will be required before entry. 

The Smart Start Program is available once a month through the Parent Center. 

Smart Smart is a program designed to help an individual prepare for the workforce by securing Career Ready-101 credentials. Through this program participants will receive Basic Skills (reading, locating information, and applied math), Career Awareness, and Necessary Skills in preparation of the desired job position. 

At the completion of the Smart Start Program (4 days), the participant will be eligible to take the WorkKeys assessment. This credential demonstrates to the employer areas of strengths needed to match the job offered.

 Eligibility requirement is a proof of Aberdeen Residency such as a state issued identification.
