Angela Goode is a 4th grade math teacher at Belle-Shivers Middle School. She is married to Russell Goode. They have two sons, two daughters and nine grandchildren. She has been working in Aberdeen School District since 1999. She started as a P.E. assistant coach and later became a teacher’s assistant. As she worked in the classroom, she loved seeing the students’ faces as they learned and wanted to do more to assist them. She decided to go back to college, so she could teach her own classroom of students. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at MUW in 2009. She has since had the honor of teaching at Belle-Shivers Middle School. She loves teaching her students through story-telling and classroom experiences. She reminds her students every day that "Learning is never done without errors and defeat." Mrs. Goode is a team player; she goes above and beyond to ensure that her students master the standards and demonstrate growth. She has also hosted parent nights to teach parents the math skills their children are learning, which enables parents to reinforce learning at home. Mrs. Goode also volunteers after school to assist Beta Club students prepare for the Beta competition in March. Mrs. Goode is a
