I have worked in the district 11 1/2 years. Computer Lab Assistant 2 years, Accounts Payable Clerk 2 years, and Chief Financial Officers 7 1/2 years. I have seen the district at it’s lowest financially (Below $500,000 Fund Balance) and Academics ( F Rated District).
Through the years I have worked with some great people that have the best interest of our students! That has helped our district improve tremendously!!! No, we are not where we want to be but we are striving. The district ended FY18 with over $4 million fund balance and now a C rated district. There are good things going on at ASD and I am proud to be apart of it!
Thanks to everyone that voted for me to be Employee of The Week!!! I feel so honored! This goes to show you never know who is watching and appreciates the things you do. I have to thank my team because without Elsie, Michelle, Latosha, Chasity, and Dorothy the Accounting/Technology Departments day to day wouldn’t be possible. These Ladies are the BEST TEAM I have ever worked with!!! Thanks Superintendent Clay and other Administrators. You all work hard to make sure the teachers and students have all the necessary resources. Most importantly Thanks to the Teachers and Students for all your hard work and dedication to ASD!
