April 22 was Bus Driver Appreciation Day for Mississippi schools, and today is National Bus Driver Appreciation Day. Although we are a little late, we want to be sure we recognize and celebrate our Aberdeen School District bus drivers.

The Rotary Club of Aberdeen took time on Monday, April 20, to celebrate excellence across Aberdeen School District!
Students and Teachers of the Month were recognized for their hard work, leadership, and commitment to success, proof that strong traditions of achievement are alive and well in our schools.
The spotlight was also on our Aviation Academy, a program that continues to open doors and prepare students for high-demand careers. Ms. MacDonald, Chief Pilot, served as the guest speaker, sharing insight and inspiration about the opportunities ahead for our students.
We are grateful for the Rotary Club’s continued support in recognizing the very best of #BulldawgPride!

Last night at our monthly Board of Trustees meeting, we had the opportunity to recognize some outstanding achievements across our district.
✈️ The Lopez sisters were celebrated for achieving their first solo flights, becoming the first and second students to reach this incredible milestone.
⭐ K. Hubbard was recognized for being named Star Student.
🏆 TSA awards were presented to A. Hazzle and Q. Walker.
📚 We also honored our high school students who earned Platinum and Gold on their WorkKeys assessment.
We are proud of the hard work, dedication, and excellence our students continue to demonstrate. #BulldawgPride 💙🐾
