Meet Mrs. Heather Walker...
My name is Mrs. Heather L. Walker. I am a fourth-grade ELA Teacher at Belle-Shivers Middle School. I began my educational journey in the Aberdeen School District where I graduated in 1992. I studied Elementary Education at Mississippi University for Women where I obtained a Bachelor of Science and later attended the University of Mississippi to obtain a Master’s Degree in Education. My decision to become a teacher happened because I am a mom and wanted a career that gave me the flexibility to be involved firsthand with my children's education and be available to them while they were growing up. Since 2007, each year I've spent in education has brought valuable experiences, helpful knowledge, and precious memories!
