Aberdeen School District is excited to announce that online student registration for the 2026–2027 school year will open on June 15, 2026, through ActiveParent.
We encourage all families to complete registration as early as possible to ensure a smooth start to the school year. Early registration helps our schools prepare class schedules, transportation routes, staffing needs, and other important services that support student success from day one.
Returning Students
Parents and guardians of returning students should log in to their ActiveParent account to complete the registration process.
When registering, families must provide two (2) current proofs of residency.
Required Proofs of Residency
One (1) proof must be a current utility bill dated within the last 30 days.
The second proof may be one of the following:
Mortgage documents or property deed
Apartment or home lease (signed original)
Driver's license
Filed homestead exemption application form
Voter precinct identification
Automobile registration
Affidavit of residency
Other documentation that objectively establishes that the parent or guardian resides within the Aberdeen School District
New Student Registration
Families enrolling a student who is new to Aberdeen School District must provide the required residency documents listed above, along with the following:
Certified copy of the student's birth certificate
Original Mississippi Certificate of Immunization Compliance (Form 121)
Student's Social Security card (optional)
Withdrawal form, report card, and/or transcript from the student's previous school
Important Information for Incoming 7th Grade Students
Mississippi law requires all students entering the 7th grade to provide proof of receiving the Tdap vaccination (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis booster).
Students must submit an updated Mississippi Form 121 to their school prior to registration.
Parents are encouraged to schedule vaccination appointments early to avoid delays in the registration process.

Registration codes are typically included on your student's last report card. If you cannot locate your code, please contact your child's school for assistance.
