AES Students Reach Over 3 Million Words Read! This week, Aberdeen Elementary students read an impressive 3,372,140 words through their AR program! It is imperative that students are reading their AR books and taking tests weekly to support comprehension and continued growth. We are thrilled to announce that Aberdeen School District has officially unveiled the first aircraft in the State of Mississippi for High School students. This incredible investment will support our students in earning aviation hours and mechanic certifications. This incredible investment will open new doors for our students, providing hands-on experience in the world of aviation.

Attention Aberdeen School District Families and Staff: Due to forecasted inclement weather during morning arrival time, all Aberdeen School District schools and the Central Office will operate on a two-hour delayed start on Monday, March 31, 2025. Aberdeen Elementary Kicks Off A+ Avengers Boot Camp for MAAP Prep! Aberdeen Elementary School has officially launched the A+ Avengers Boot Camp as we gear up for the MAAP state assessments! This exciting initiative energizes and prepares our students for success through engaging and interactive learning experiences. In Mrs. Williams' 4th-grade math class, students were fully immersed in learning, sharpening their math skills with enthusiasm and determination.
