📍 BLUF: AFJROTC Spring Semester Awards Program On April 5th, AHS AFJROTC cadets celebrated their annual Dining Out, which serves as the Spring Semester Awards Program. This special evening recognized cadets for their dedication, discipline, and leadership. 🏅 Cadets were honored with both local and national awards, presented by Col Williams, Senior Aerospace Science Instructor, and MSgt Nolan, the program’s new Aerospace Science Instructor. 🎖️ The evening was made even more memorable by the inspiring words of Command Sergeant Major (Ret) Robert Bishop, who served as the guest speaker. AES Students Reach Over 3 Million Words Read! This week, Aberdeen Elementary students read an impressive 3,372,140 words through their AR program! It is imperative that students are reading their AR books and taking tests weekly to support comprehension and continued growth.
