Donnie Sloan & Cruz Jimenez from Amory Fire Department visited the Monroe County Career and Tech Center yesterday and demonstrated the “jaws of life,” where the students were able to use special tools to cut their “patient” out of the truck. Our students really enjoyed themselves while learning important life saving tips.

Today, our fantastic seniors gathered to take their senior portraits. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Jostens will be visiting our campus on Friday, November 3rd to take measurements for caps and gowns. All seniors were handed their graduation packages on Monday, October 30th and are required to make a deposit. Congratulations to all the seniors! This is only the beginning, not the end.

Good afternoon. On Monday May 1, Aberdeen High School's Specials department will host our final parent event at 6:00 p.m. in the Roy Hazzle Gymnasium. The theme is "Entrepreneurship". Local entrepreneurs, along with some of our AHS student entrepreneurs, will showcase their business. On-the-spot interviews will be conducted by some for possible summer internships for students.
