Last night’s playoff loss in Ruleville was not the ending our Ladydawgs hoped for, but one game does not define a season, and it certainly does not define this team.

These young ladies represented Aberdeen with heart, grit, and determination all year long. They showed up, put in the work, battled through challenges, and competed with pride every time they stepped on the floor. That is what truly matters.

Championship programs are built on resilience. You learn, you grow, and you come back stronger. The scoreboard may not have gone our way, but the character, teamwork, and effort displayed all season are something to be proud of.

Ladydawgs, hold your heads high. Your school district and community stand behind you.

πŸ“š Calling all local authors (and friends of authors)! πŸ“š

Aberdeen Elementary School is planning its upcoming Read Across America event and would love to connect with local authors interested in participating.

Authors would have the opportunity to set up a booth and talk with students about:
✏️ How they wrote their book
πŸ“– The publishing process
πŸŽ“ The steps, challenges, and costs along the way

The event will take place between March 4–6, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (flexible based on availability).

If you know a local author who may be interested, please share their contact information with us, or feel free to pass this message along. Thank you for helping us support literacy and connect our students with real-world writers! πŸ’™πŸΎ
