Ms. A. Calvert’s Pride Time group worked hard practicing strategies to summarize a text. They created graffiti boards with words and phrases that stood out and helped them remember what was important in each section of the article.

⏰ Arrive On Time: Timeliness is key! Please ensure your child arrives at school on time on testing days to avoid unnecessary stress.
📚 Attendance Matters: Attendance is vital during testing periods as well as regular school days. Missing a test can have significant implications for your child's academic record. Please ensure your child attends school.

Belle Shivers Middle School 7th and 8th grade students who scored proficient or advanced on their first benchmark earned a trip to see Mississippi State Women's Basketball at The Hump today! Congratulations and Go Dawgs!


On November 7th, we achieved a 95% attendance rate in the ongoing November Attendance Challenge. Congratulations on a significant achievement!


JV Girls' Basketball teams will travel to Houston tonight. Meet us there to help cheer them on. Go Dawgs!



5th and 6th grade students who scored proficient and advanced on their first ELS Benchmark earned a ticket to the Ole Miss Women's Basketball game against Queens on Monday, November 6. Great job!




5th and 6th grade girls at BSMS met with Girl Scouts today and had such a wonderful time learning and bonding together. What a great day
