I wanted to share with you our AR celebrations from today!
This past 9 weeks, I raised the bar for the AR goals and the students were to meet 3 different goals instead of just one. Of course our students rose to the challenge!
For 4th grade, Jakylian Doss, Courniyah Franks, Omari Gates, Nehemiah Jernigan, Reagan Townes, and Tyrek Woods met their AR goals. As a matter of fact, Tyrek is our “AR CHAMPION” for BSMS. He met all of his goals AND earned 32.8 points!
The 5th graders read more books than ANYONE with over 500 books! I send a special shout out to Ms. Patton for that! The 5th graders that met their goals are as follows: Jayde Buchanan, Tai’Lan Carothers, Alex Cunningham Jr.,Kingston Devauld, Kayleigh Dobbs, Xavier Johnson, Joshua Paine, Makayla Pargo, Dalaina Pippens, Brian Riddle Jr., and Mia White.
I’m proud of my two 6th graders that met their goal, Yasmin Davidson and Lilly Lopez. Unfortunately Lilly was unavailable for her picture.
Now, we’re gearing up for our next AR celebration! 😁

BSMS will kick off its football season Monday at Amory. Tickets will only be available on Go Fan.
If you have not registered your child for the 2022'-23' school year, You will be able to register at the Belle or Shivers' offices on Monday, August 8th
through Wednesday, August 10th between the hours of 10am-2pm.
