BSMS Parents: Belle-Shivers Middle School Packet Pick-Up & Return for Distance Learners is scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2020, from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Parents of all grades must park on North Franklin Street and pick up packets in the foyer of the Shivers building. Parents should drop off the completed packet given last week, and pick up a new packet. This will count towards your child’s attendance. Thank you.

BSMS Parents: Due to a scheduled professional development for BSMS staff on Friday afternoon, the scheduled time for packet pickup and return is from 8:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020. Parents of all grades must park on North Franklin Street and enter the building in the Shivers' foyer. Packets must be returned on Friday for attendance purposes. If they are not returned on Friday, students will be marked absent until packets are returned.

BSMS Parents: For the upcoming athletic games, all ticket purchases must be made through an App called GoFan prior to attending the games. Please download the GoFan app on your phone and purchase tickets. Thank you!

BSMS PARENTS: Belle-Shivers is hosting a mask fundraiser!! The Aberdeen Bulldogs' Mask is $10 and will be on sale until September 22nd. Masks can be purchased in the main office of Belle and Shivers. MASK UP!

BSMS PARENTS: Per the Governor’s orders on yesterday evening, the previous restriction has been lifted. The football game is now open for everyone to come purchase tickets and enter the game! Tickets for today’s game are $5. See you at 5:30! NO MASK, NO ENTRY!

BSMS Parents: Great news! The t-shirts are in! Hybrid Learners will receive their t-shirts today and tomorrow prior to dismissal. Distance Learner t-shirts may be picked up this Friday when parents come for packet return and pick-up! If you ordered a black shirt for your child, it was exchanged for another color. Black t-shirts were designated from the beginning for BSMS faculty and staff. Thank you!

At BSMS, we are gearing up for i-Ready, an online reading and math program that will help us determine student's strengths and areas of growth in the aforementioned subject areas. Hybrid students will have an i-Ready diagnostic assessment for reading on Mon/Tues, and math on Wed/Thurs. Distant Learner parents will be contacted to schedule when those students will be able to take the test. We are also asking for parent support in helping students prepare to take the i-Ready Diagnostic Assessment by encouraging students to get a good night's rest, do their best, and bring earphones for the test.

BSMS Parents/Relatives of Athletes: Football game vouchers are 5 dollars for the game against Pontotoc.

BSMS Parents: We will host our first football game against Pontotoc on Tuesday, September 1st. Only two relatives per athlete may attend the games this year per State mandated orders due to COVID-19. Parents/relatives of athletes must pay for their vouchers by Monday, August 31st to attend the game. Vouchers can be purchased at the Shivers main office.
