In the upcoming 22-23 school year, all incoming seventh-grade students must have a Tdap immunization shot for school. Please ensure your child has received the shot by July 31st and submit it to the Shivers Office.
ATTN BSMS PARENTS:
Students will have the opportunity to take school pictures on Wednesday, April 13th.
Students who plan to take school pictures are allowed to dress out of uniform. *Appropriate clothing is required.*
Students who do not plan to take pictures must be in uniform.

Students are bringing Splat guns to school. These are prohibited devices on BSMS campus. Please help us enhance student safety by ensuring that your child does not bring a Splat gun to school. Students who are in possession of this device will receive three days of in school detention; students who use a Splat gun on campus will receive three days out of school suspension.

•Uniform shirts must be navy, black, or white.
•Uniform pants must be black, khaki, or navy.
•Uniform pants are NOT jeans, leggings, or jeggings.
•Hoodies are allowed and they must be black, blue, grey, or white. No exceptions.
•All shoes including crocs must have a strap on the back, and straps must be worn on the heel at all times.
Failure to follow school rules will result in a disciplinary action.

This is a reminder regarding the Tardy policy. Once a student reaches the 4th tardy to school and/or from class to class transition- the student will receive a referral and serve ISS. As a student continues to accumulate more tardies after the 4th tardy, ISS continues to be assigned.
The tardy bell rings at 7:40 a.m. for first period. Please make sure your student(s) are on time for school each day, & reinforce the importance of being on time for each class throughout the day.

This is a reminder regarding the tardy policy:
Once a student receives the 4th tardy, one day of ISS will be issued, and we will follow the policy regarding each tardy after the 4th one. Tardies to class (from period to period) are also included in the count.
Tardiness to class causes loss of instructional time and distractions. Please help your student exhibit Bulldog PRIDE by: 1) ensuring they are on time for school each day, and 2) reinforcing the importance of promptness to each class.
