HOW WE COMMUNICATE
The Aberdeen School District Communications office employs several means of disseminating information to our students, parents, and community stakeholders. We hope you'll connect with ASD through our channels.
PRESS RELEASES & MEDIA INFORMATION
The Aberdeen School District provides a chronological archive of press releases, news memos, and announcements through our Dawg News media feed, updated weekly and sometimes daily. We invite you to bookmark the page to access the most recent information easily.
PARENT NOTIFICATIONS
Aberdeen School District communicates with parents through text message via our web portal. This mass messaging system allows us to send a telephone and/or text message to parents regarding important information about school events or emergencies. We use PawPress to notify parents of school delays and closings due to inclement weather, as well as for reminders about events and more.
SOCIAL MEDIA
ASD maintains a strong social media presence to serve as an additional source of communication for parents, students, media, and our ASD community.
