MAAP

Mississippi Academic Assessment Program

Mississippi Academic Assessment Program (MAAP) is designed to measure student achievement on the Mississippi College-and Career-Readiness Standards (MS CCRS) for English Language Arts and Mathematics and to provide valid and reliable results to guide instruction through data driven instruction. The MAAP will assess students in grades 3-8 in English Language Arts and Mathematics, Algebra I, and English II.

State Testing will begin in March 2019.

CASE 21

TE21 or Case 21 will be used at Belle Shivers Middle School and the Aberdeen High School. The pacing guides, assessment banks and the 9 weeks benchmark assessments will all come from Case 21.

Local Testing in October, December, and MSeparatorarch.

NWEA

Northwestern Evaulation Association or NWEA is an interim benchmark assessment that will be given three times a year. After each administration, a goal will be determined based on the RIT score. This data will need to be analysed each time to make instructional decisions about the progress or the lack thereof of each student. NWEA will be used at Aberdeen Elementary and Belle Shivers Middle Schools.
