District Leadership attends MASS Conference

Aberdeen School District leaders have been using the summer to tailor their skills for the upcoming school year. Several members of the district's leadership team have attended conferences and acquired skills that will directly translate to the day-to-day operations in the district office and at the school level.

All three Aberdeen School District principals attended Principal Boot Camp in Meridian, MS. There, the trio was able to network with other principals across the state, while learning best practices and sharing resources.

While attending the MASSP Conference on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Belle-Shivers Middle School Principal Kristen Fondren received a reward.

In Flowood, MS, Latosha Williams and Jennifer Dobbs attended the MAFEPD 2023 Summer Conference. Together, the pair learned more about federal programming and ways our team can further elevate the district.

Superintendent Andrea Pastchal-Smith and other district leaders attended the MASS Conference in Biloxi, MS. The group attended several sessions geared towards their respective areas of expertise and have already begun utilizing skills they've acquired for the new school year.
