The kickoff time has been set for the first varsity football game of the year. The Aberdeen Bulldogs will host the Shannon Red Raiders at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023.
The time change comes after the Mississippi High School Athletic Association ruled that schools across the state were able to move their kickoff times back one hour due to the extreme heat.
Tickets for the game cost $8.
GAME ADMITTANCE
- All children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to enter.
- No admittance to the game will be allowed after the end of the 3rd quarter.
SECURITY
- Additional lighting will be provided for parking lots and stadium areas.
- Additional administrators, school resource officers, Aberdeen Police officers, and Monroe County Sheriff's deputies will be present at Friday's football game.
