I am Mrs. Heather L. Walker, an Aberdeen native and educator. In 2007, I began my teaching career in Aberdeen. I am a graduate of Mississippi University for Women (MUW) and the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). My husband, Christopher L. Walker, and I have raised our oldest children in Aberdeen while watching them enjoy extracurricular activities within the Aberdeen School District. Now, our eight-year old is attending the same district as his siblings. My favorite quote speaks to how I view my community. Together, teachers and parents have the power to create greatness right here in Aberdeen. So, let's work!
