This week's AES Employee of the Week is Ms. Olivia Ulbrich. Ms. Ulbrich has worked incredibly hard over the last 8 years in the ASD to be a rock star educator for the students she serves. She worked her way up from a special education teacher to assistant principal & this is a testament to the dedication she has shown to the ASD. Principal Fondren states that Ms. Ulbrich is one of the hardest-working people she has ever met. Her intelligence & huge heart for others are the reasons she will go very far in her life & career.
In Ms. Ulbrich’s words:
I have been in education for 15 years, and have had the privilege of being part of Aberdeen Elementary School since 2014. After being in roles as a third-grade and special education self-contained teacher, library media specialist, and academic coach, I was excited to expand my role at AES as Assistant Principal this year. Together with a dedicated and knowledgeable principal and mentor, amazing and creative teachers, brilliant and loving children, and outstanding and involved parents, I am committed to providing our students with a loving environment where a foundation for lifetime learning can be created.
