Professional School Counselors play a vital role in the lives of all children. Through the curriculum, school counselors teach classroom lessons organized into three domains—academic, career, and social-emotional—to all students. Professional School counselors work to maximize student success, promoting access and equity for all students. As integral members of the school leadership team, counselors create a school culture of success and high expectations for all. School counselors design and implement school counseling programs that improve student outcomes.
