Belle Shivers Middle School Family and Community Engagement night is underway!

Tonight at 4p Belle Shivers Middle School invites all families out for fun learning interactions. See you there!

The Adult Basic Education/GED course is yet available every Tuesday and Thursday at the Parent Center 9:00-12:30 p.m. Since it's start in August, there have been two to complete. These students are now enrolled at Itawamba Community College to continue their education. Services are free of charge. Call the Parent Center for more information.

Parent Teacher Organization Meetings for November, save the dates. All are invited. Belle Shivers Middle School- Nov 6 at 5:30 p.m. in Cafeteria. Aberdeen High School-Nov 8 at 4:00 p.m. in Library. Aberdeen Elementary School- Nov 12 at 5:30 p.m. in Media Center.

The anticipation is over, the votes are counted, and we have two teams as most creative #ASDTRUNK2018 cars to announce. Congratulations team "Touchdown for Reading" (AES), and team "Peter Pan" (BSMS)

The technical career pathway can be the entrance into a financially sound decision. Students and families are encouraged to attend the "Will I be Ready for the Real World" presentation on tomorrow in the High School Library at 5:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Join AHS science department for Mad Scientist Forensic Lab on Monday, Oct. 22 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Explore a crime scene, learn how to test a blood type, fingerprinting, blood spatter analysis and skeletal forensics. Hope to see you Monday!

Aberdeen High School presents the Mad Science Lab on Monday, October 22 at 4:00-6:00 p.m. All families and students are welcome to explore a mock crime lab, how to test for blood types, fingerprint, and more. Candy will be served. Meet in the Biology Pod.

Final state accountability results are in - Aberdeen Elementary grew 1 letter grade from a "D" to "C", Belle-Shivers grew 2 letter grades from a "F" to "C", Aberdeen High stayed a "B", and the district grew to a "C". Great job by our faculty, staff, and most importantly the students of Aberdeen School District!

Every Tuesday and Thursday Adult Basic Education/GED is offered for free at the Parent Center. You will need a state issued identification to get started. Class time is at 8:30-12:30 p.m. Work Keys is also available. Call the Parent Center for more information.
