On April 5th, AHS AFJROTC cadets celebrated their annual Dining Out, which serves as the Spring Semester Awards Program. This special evening recognized cadets for their dedication, discipline, and leadership.

Cadets were honored with both local and national awards, presented by Col Williams, Senior Aerospace Science Instructor, and MSgt Nolan, the programβs new Aerospace Science Instructor.
ποΈ The evening was made even more memorable by the inspiring words of Command Sergeant Major (Ret) Robert Bishop, who served as the guest speaker.

Our AHS AFJROTC cadets recently visited Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB) for a hands-on learning experience that connected eco cars (EC), electric vehicles (EV), and STEM in aviation. π‘βοΈπ
From exploring cutting-edge technologies to deepening their understanding of STEM in real-world applications, our cadets represented Aberdeen with excellence and curiosity. And yesβthey even applied some geometry and physics while having a little fun at the CAFB bowling lanes! π³π

After Monday's 3rd grade ELA Intensive Instruction block, the annual 3rd Grade Reading Assessment Parade was held at 1:00 p.m. The AES students and teachers made signs and stood in the hallway, encouraging the 3rd graders to do their best on their assessments yesterday and today. After the parade, we presented our students/mentees with gifts and words of encouragement.









We are pleased to announce that for Aberdeen Elementary School, Delauren Buckingham, a 4th-grade student, has been selected for recognition on April 14, 2025, as the Rotary Club Student of the Month.
Highlights of Delaurenβs Achievements:
Achieved a perfect score on the Math MAAP 2024
Exceeded the 85% AR goal with an average score of 93% each 9 weeks
Scored proficient or advanced on all four benchmark assessments
In addition to these accomplishments, Delauren is known for being an eager helper to peers and teachers, consistently demonstrating a problem-solving mindset. He is highly attentive to his academics and approaches school optimistically and enthusiastically.
