Ms. A. Calvert’s Pride Time group worked hard practicing strategies to summarize a text. They created graffiti boards with words and phrases that stood out and helped them remember what was important in each section of the article.

🔵 April is Child Abuse Prevention Month! 🔵 It's time to raise our voices and take a stand to protect the most vulnerable members of our community - our children. Every child deserves to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment, free from harm and abuse. In support of this important initiative, we are encouraging everyone to wear Bulldawg BLUE on Fridays throughout the month of April. By wearing blue, we not only raise awareness about the prevalence of child abuse but also show our commitment to taking action and advocating for the well-being of children everywhere. Pinwheels were placed at each school in the district to show our awareness. Congratulations to Kamilah Dobbs for being chosen as the Aberdeen High School FCA Champion of Character. Kamilah displays excellent character and leadership on and off the field. She will be recognized at the Cadence Bank Arena during the Night of Champions ceremony with sixty of her peers in front of a crowd of 500 plus. Congratulations, Kamilah.
