We have heard your concerns, and we want you to know that we are listening. As we continue working to strengthen relationships and rebuild trust, we remain committed to creating a culture where our students, staff, families, alumni, and community feel welcomed, valued, and united.
After careful consideration, Homecoming has been moved to Friday, October 23, due to Fall Break, allowing our students, staff, alumni, and families the opportunity to fully participate in one of our district's most celebrated traditions. Senior Night will now be held on Friday, October 16.
Making this adjustment gives everyone ample time to update their plans while ensuring our school community can be together to celebrate Aberdeen's rich traditions.
As part of our commitment to transparency and collaboration, we invite the community to attend a Homecoming and Tailgate Meeting on Wednesday, September 2, at 5:30 p.m. in the Roy E. Hazzle Gymnasium as we discuss logistics and updated safety precautions.
If you have any questions, a QR code will be shared for community members to submit any questions before the meeting so we can address the topics.
Together, we can restore district pride, strengthen school spirit, and create a Homecoming experience that reflects the very best of Aberdeen.
One Band. One Sound.
