Our administrators are currently at Biloxi's MASSP/MAESA/MSASPA conference. This conference allows them to network with other administrators throughout Mississippi. They also heard two keynote speakers, Andrew Marotta and Mark Ostach. Thank you for all that you do for ASD!! 💙🐾

This Thursday, our Bulldawgs and LadyDawgs basketball teams are hitting the court against Hatley in an exciting showdown. 📍 Location: Roy E. Hazzle Gymnasium 🗓️ Date: Thursday, June 13 ⏰ Time: Games start at 11:00 AM 🎟️ Admission: $5 per person We have a packed schedule with 4 games total—both JV and Varsity teams will be playing. School is out, but we are still celebrating and announcing our WINS! Congratulations to Aberdeen High School and Belle Shivers Middle School on Thursday, May 23, 2024. AHS had 99% attendance and BSMS had 98% attendance. They met and exceeded the district's 95% ADA goal! Congratulations! EVERYDAY counts!

Congratulations: Aberdeen School District has been named an All-Star eSpark District for 2023-24! Five of our teachers have been using eSpark with fidelity to improve learning outcomes in reading, writing, and math this school year. Our top teacher was Michelle Pilate. Students using eSpark in the classrooms have mastered 215 standards and are among the top classrooms nationwide! Way to go ASD!

Please make sure you have all the required documents ready. This includes: - Proof of residency - Immunization records - Birth certificates - Previous school records (if applicable) Having these documents prepared will help ensure a smooth and efficient registration process. Our 2024 Aberdeen High School Commencement Ceremony is tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. we are currently forecasting a 30% chance of rain. Please come prepared for the possibility of wet weather to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience. Bring stadium seats, rain jackets/ponchos to stay dry and comfortable. Be prepared for a potential delayed start if it is raining at the scheduled commencement time. Graduates, please be mindful of the ground conditions. We recommend wearing blocked heels or flats to avoid sinking into the ground with stilettos. Your safety is our chief concern. Thank you for your support and understanding.
