Chronic absence refers to students missing an extended period of school when excused and unexcused absences are considered. Given the critical importance of time devoted to learning, especially in the early years, we believe it is important to count all absences. Our November Attendance Challenge is about to start. Please help us by ensuring your child gets a good night's rest and attends school. When students improve their attendance rates, they improve their academic prospects and chances of graduating. The best average daily attendance school will be awarded the ADA trophy. The grade level at each school with the best attendance will also receive incentives for their outstanding attendance! Thank you for your support!
